My concept for the Liberty advent calendar was inspired by ‘under the starry skies of London’. The busy streets full of lights and life - the people of London creating movement through the streets at night. Particularly focusing on the ‘late night shoppers’ who have come to capture the magic the Liberty store brings.

The blue colour I have singled out being rich in British culture and the royalty of the Liberty store which it deserves. Love being the main focus of people shopping - buying for family and friends and spreading that feeling of being someone special. Everywhere is open and accessible, you could walk right into the scene and be absorbed by the London skyline depicted by continuous moving lines.

London is a built city, but the sky and nature has not and will not change, the sky will look down on our ever changing and modernising world. The magic of the Liberty storefront being a steady constant towering its Tudor structure reminding us of it’s long history on that famous West End street.
