This print came about from my own account of the Scottish Highland Wildfires that came about on the Dava Way in 2025, and Cairngorm mountain 2026. These lovely, full of ‘nature and beauty’ places are held very highly in my heart and the effect of climate change on them is painful.
Funds from this print are going directly to The Cairngorms Trust who have set up a Wildfire Response and Recovery Fund to accept offers of support in light of the Glenmore and Abernethy fire. I will be donating £10 per print to this cause.
Using a reduction lino block printing method I have created these A3 Prints, using a musky blue and blood orange colours to convey the beauty and destruction of these two wildfires.
This particular print is handprinted in my garden studio using my carving tools and wooden printing press. These are limited edition, however I am also selling riso prints which are available here from the end of October 2026.
These prints are sold as shown, in eco friendly biodegradable packaging.
